It was a one-in-a-lifetime-chance for  Doch Chkae, a band of young orphans from the slums of Phnom Penh: In 2018 they were invited to play at Wacken, the worlds biggest metal festival. But first their visa got denied and then their band almost broke apart.
That they would get through all of this was not likely. But they made it: In the summer of 2019, the teenagers, who usually play in front of 20 people, embarked on a journey to Germany, where they suddenly found themselves on a stage in front of thousands of people.
Follow their remarkable trip in our documentary, a story about poverty and inequality, but also about hope and the border crossing power of music.
